The new Pascagoula River Audubon Center in Moss Point is a testament to the value of having a competent building contractor that understands how to work across all parties involved in the process. As much as an architectural design can anticipate many aspect of putting a building together, there are always unanticipated challenges and surprises that can delay a project. The professionals with Coastal dealt with each and every challenge in a prompt and decisive way, that in almost all cases improved the quality of the work and saved money in the process. As the owner, this attitude was both refreshing, gratifying, and gave us confidence that the end product would be as good as it could be. Coastal was also dedicated to imposing minimal environmental impact to the trees around the site. There was one particular tree directly adjacent to the building that Coastal worked closely with the center staff and project arborist to protect.
